This summer we provided a very creative solution for one our clients.
This is actually Part Two of the concrete driveway update for this homeowner. Our concrete contractors had previously poured the large exposed aggregate concrete portion of their driveway. Since then the homeowners decided to remove a tree at the front left side of the property.
With the tree gone the homeowners wanted to add more parking space to their driveway and not have to worry about landscaping the small front portion of their property.
Our solution was to add a 3’ wide broomed concrete borders to the exposed aggregate middle sections.
We think that the finished exposed aggregate concrete driveway pattern is both visually impactful and also very functional! You would never know this driveway was paved in two phases. These homeowners can now have multiple guests at their home and not have to worry about running out of parking.
